Sokolova, Margarita
Written by Сергей Соколов
Пятница, 17 Октябрь 2008

Age 32, from Surgut, Russia

Margarita was born in Kazan on August 3rd, 1970.  In 1987 she graduated from high school and entered the Kazan chemical technical institute, which at that time was still known as Kazan state technical university.

‘Ritochka’ and I met in early 1990, and by the autumn we were already married.  After graduation she continued in college as a graduate student while working as a research assistant in the institute.  In 1994 she moved to city of Surgut and started working with Surgutneftgazbank, Inc.  She worked there until October of 2002.

While working at the bank, Rita studied at the finance and economics institute, and on completing her course she received an economics degree.

Behind these brief, dry lines is an enormous life, full of happiness and troubles, love and separation, victories and failures.  One cannot, perhaps, describe this life even in a massive book, let alone on an Internet page.  Rita is always with me, together with our son André, who is now ten years old.  André and I always feel her good cheer, vast love, tenderness, concern, and the warmth of her heart and caring hands.  Of course, the heart continuously aches from the colossal, irreparable loss.

Grief cannot be forgotten, nor pushed to the side – it is always with you.  Life is short, and flows along full of empty words, deeds, and measly desires, merely the satisfaction of whims and needs.  The main thing is the vast, communicable happiness to be found while your are with your loved ones, talking with them, feeling the warmth of their soul, their heart, and their warm and affectionate touch.
