A bus was blown up in Nevinnomyssk, and there are casualties  A bus was blown up in Nevinnomyssk (in the Stavropol region). According to the press service of the Emergencies Ministry department for the Stavropol territory, the vehicle caught fire immediately after the blast.Two passengers were killed, and 9 others injured. A greater number of casualties was avoided because, at the time of the explosion, the bus was unloading passengers and many had gone outside the bus. It is known that the bus was following the Pyatigorsk to Stavropol route. The incident occurred during a stop at the Nevinnomyssk bus station at about 4:30 pm Moscow time. Currently they are working to identify the dead. An operational investigative group is working the scene, composed of officers from the Emergencies Ministry, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the FSB. A criminal case was opened under Article 205 of the Penal Code (terrorist acts) and Article 222 (the illegal purchase, possession, or transport of weapons or explosives). According to the investigation's main theory, an explosive device in the rear of the bus caused the explosion of the bus’s fuel tank.
