ImageMoscow announced the search for a potential suicide bomber, who flew in from Surgut on Tuesday night. The ‘Novosti’ news agency made this report with a quote from a source in law enforcement.
On the wanted list is Viktoriya Syrbu, born in 1990. She arrived at Vnukovo airport on March 29th at around 6 pm. “The suspect’s description: height 170 cm, medium build, straight black hair, Slavic appearance, wearing a long black coat,” said the news agency’s source.
Information about Syrbu has already been transmitted to police patrols in the capital, but confirmation of this information from official sources has not yet been received.
Meanwhile, ‘Interfax’ reported on the arrival in Moscow on March 29th of a potential suicide bomber from Moldova. She is 20 years old, and the police have already received her description.
It is not known if this is the same girl. It is worth noting that the name Syrbu is widespread in Moldova.
Law enforcement agencies have, on several occasions of late, put out APBs on suicide bombers allegedly arriving in Moscow for the commission of terrorist attacks. On March 28th, the Dagestan Interior Ministry reported the possible arrival in Moscow from the North Caucasian republic of the two militants’ widows: Zeynap Magomedova and Patimat Ramazanova. The following day, however, the women were located still in Dagestan. Police operatives stated that they have no information about whether they were preparing terrorists attacks.
In late February, similar information came in about a resident of Ingushetia, Khava Fargiyeva. She had allegedly left for Moscow with a native of Kislovodsk, Timur Sheremetov. According to other information, she intended to commit a terrorist attack in the Stavropol region. It is not known whether she reached Moscow, and there has been no information reported on her arrest.
