Радиостанция «Эхо Москвы»Кухня Андрея ЧеркизоваА. ЧЕРКИЗОВ: Наш разговор должен был состояться в прошлую субботу, но так случилось, что нам арестовали Ходорковского, и поэтому мы вынуждены были говорить об этом. Но тему мы решили не отменять, потому что она мне кажется принципиально важной. Тема следующая теракты-жертвы, кто, за что отвечает. Семенов, зачитаю несколько цитат. 23 октября газета «Газета» опубликовала мнение специалистов спецназа зарубежных «Замысел преступников, доведенный до конца, означал бы смерть сотен людей и унижение для всей России». В годовщину штурма Театрального центра на Дубровке прошла панихида по погибшим  Больше всего людей вчера было не у памятника жертвам теракта, а у самодельных табличек с именами погибших. Люди стали собираться на площади перед ДК за несколько часов до панихиды. Кто-то приехал сюда сразу с кладбища, кто-то решил съездить на могилу после церковной службы. Стояли небольшими группами, тихо переговаривались. Передавали друг другу цветы, затем по одному подходили к доске с именами, ставили рамки с фотографиями, что-то тихо шептали про себя и отходили.  The government marked the anniversary of the seizure of hostages as a victory, but tried not to ignore the day of the assault that freed them. This looks a bit strange, as if Russia was celebrating (the start of WW II) on June 22nd, but was silent about May 9th (Victory Day). On October 23rd, the Moscow city boss and his entourage dedicated an obelisk some distance from the scene of the tragedy. They held their own event, pointedly turning their backs on the former hostages and relatives of the slain. On this same day they were dedicating a plaque bearing the names of the victims, which was installed on a wall of the already former theatrical center. The official event was so ostentatious, that while returning to their cars, the mayor and his retinue turned away and tried very hard not to notice the people, flowers, or candles in front of the other memorial. They succeeded in this, and in full accordance with their ceremony, during the dedication of the obelisk, Joseph Kobzon sang: “there is nothing to cry about, long live the mayor, the president, and the courageous commandos.” Be first to comment this article | Views: 4294 | E-mail |

 A year ago, after the terrorist attack at Dubrovka, the name of Lieutenant Colonel Konstantin Ivanovich Vasilev, of the Russian Ministry of Justice, was made known to all residents of the city of Sarov. His blue eyes looked at us from the pages of the city newspapers, and he looked into the heart of everyone. We, in turn, gazed into his eyes, in pity, trying to understand, and to remember. Why was he at the theater that night? He was not among the spectators, nor with the soldiers who freed the hostages. Back then, on the very first night of the hostage crisis, not in response to a command, but in listening to the voice of his own conscience, Konstantin Vasilev went there to offer himself, a Russian officer, in place of the children.
