Age 36, from Perm, Russia.

Born in Polazna on April 3rd, 1966.  Worked as division head for the economics section of Lukoil-Perm.

SHE CHANGED THE WORLD AROUND HER

Svetlana Kuznetsova, who also died six years ago, spent her last years working in Perm.  The girl surprised her colleagues.  “When it was lunch time,” recalled Elena Ovsennikova, a division chief for economic planning at another business in Perm, “Sveta would take off like a shot and run to do everything she’s planned for the break. She could’ve stayed here until after work, but she had to do what she’d planned as soon as possible.”

“It’s rare that professionalism, career goals, and good relations with others is combined in a person,” continued Natalya Marina, another of her former colleagues.  “For our birthdays she gave us collars and kerchiefs, which she had knitted herself.  She was never able to have a family, unfortunately.  She wanted this a lot.”

“She loved life, and was one of those people who takes a big bite out of it,” added Tatiana Bochkaryova, another fellow worker.

“Right before Svetlana left for Moscow she got her driver’s license, furnished an apartment in Perm, and learned English,” recalled Elena Ovsennikova.

On her time off before her trip to Moscow for a training seminar, Svetlana went into work.  She wanted to finish things.  She had scheduled her trip to last a month.  Her colleagues said that she wanted to go very much, and said that at long last she would have a chance to relax.
