Dmitriy was born in the lower Muscovy village of Kratovo
on October 23rd, 1975.He
attended school there.Dmitriy was a
simple, sincere, kind, and extremely persistent fellow.He did well in school, and was active in
sports.At age 14 he took up
bodybuilding and worked out with free weights at the ‘Friendship’ youth
club.His friends used to tease him by
calling him ‘Arnold’.Dmitriy was a
remarkably loving son and a loyal friend.
Time passed, and Dmitriy finished school and entered
the Malakovsky gymnastics institute.After studies and work, Dmitriy regularly attended training.He was a body culture fanatic in the most
beautiful meaning of the word.At 18
Dmitriy began entering bodybuilding competitions, taking at first fourth, but
later third place.When he was 20 he
took first place in his weight class in the junior division.
During the last months of his life Dmitriy worked in Moscow as a trainer at
the TsSK sport center.It seemed that he
had already found is place in life, but the tragedy that occurred at ‘Nord-Ost’
took the life of this 27 year-old fellow.He would still be with us and might have been able to accomplish much
more had it not been for this.
His friends and relatives are still unable to come to
grips with the loss that occurred six years ago.
