Age 30,
from the city of
Irina
Viktorovna completed the Moscow State Academy of Applied Biotechnology as a
chemical technology engineer. Since
childhood, however, Irina dreamed of fighting against crime, and started her
career with the Interior Ministry in the Perovo region. For six years she worked as chief inspector
of youth-related crimes, ending her service with a rank of captain of police. In March of
2001, Irina Viktorovna arrived at the Perovo department children and youth
protection. Her colleagues at work
remember her as a responsive, kind, and humble person, who put her soul into
every job. During her
short time at the department, Irina Viktorovna managed to accomplish quite a
lot, assisting relationships between children and their parents, and she
participated in all the regional events.
Her relatives, friends, teachers, and work colleagues will remember her always. Valentina
Ivanovna Kuznetsova, biology teacher at School #1: “We all remember Ira – a
well-raised girl, bright and with a argumentative nature. She was a good organizer of her fellow
students and came up with interesting ideas for debates. She was elected chairman of the student
council, and they were not mistaken in their choice – she took charge of all
important matters and new undertakings.
Irochka was captain of the school basketball team, a silver medal winner
in this sport for the “I went to
school with Ira for ten years,” recalls Natalya Zhukova. “She was not just a good and diligent
student, but a loyal friend. Irina would
come to your aid at a difficult time and help you find your way out any
difficult situation. We never argued, as
girlfriends often do. There was never a
reason. Irina was a girl with the
kindest of hearts, and didn’t like conflicts.
She always had good relations with the teachers and her classmates. She was warm and respectful towards her
parents, and worried about their health and all their problems. She shared their joys and sorrows, and always
tried to help them. One still hates to believe she is gone.” Irina
Nadezhda Chvanova, former trainer and presently director of the Child and Raisa Aleksandrovna,
her mother: “Irina was my hope, and my joy.
She had a bright future, but then this tragedy. Until the very end I trusted that my daughter
was alive. Even when I knew the
truth. I have lived all these years
without her in suffering, in torment night and day. Let grateful memory shine upon her name!” A poem
dedicated to Irina Bogdanova can be read here. Add as favourites (57) | Views: 2187 | E-mail
